About Milkadamia

milkadamia is a brand owned and manufactured by Jindilli Beverages. Jindilli is the name of the farm where milkadamia originated and itself an indigenous word for macadamias. Jindilli Beverages LLC is the US-based branch of a family business born out of the east coast of Australia.
The family-owned Jindilli farm is nestled near the Eastern coast of Australia in the very region where the macadamia tree originated. In a nutshell…our abundant rainfall, ample sunshine, rich soil and low impact farming is good for our nuts. Heart n’ soil – how good food is grown now.
While that’s how we started, we have outgrown the volume of macadamias from our trees. We source from neighbors and other Australian farmers and are also sourcing some macadamias from growers in South Africa. It is a commentary on climatic uncertainty that it is no longer safe to source from only one climatic region. We do of course still use our Jindilli macadamias as much as possible. We are committed to support farms that go beyond sustainable to regenerative and will always prioritize regenerative farms.
Regenerative farming focuses on restoring the biodiversity and composition of the soil, which in turn creates better yields and nutrient dense plant, while sequestering carbon from the atmosphere and allowing our planet to breathe easier. Regenerative farming techniques include a mix of utilizing minimum tilling, cover crops, and feeding the soil with organic matter.

While macadamias contain calcium, we also fortify some of our products as listed in their individual ingredients.

milkadamia is NON-GMO Project Verified company. We go many extra miles to ensure no GMOs are in any milkadamia products. Unfortunately, we have learned assurances and even signed certificates of compliance can mislead. At milkadamia, we are independently investigating for ourselves the source and provenance of every ingredient. We have had a couple of surprises and had to alter suppliers and/or formulations mid-stream. This is a task that will never be complete as our suppliers’ source from multiple regions. However, as a result of undertaking this arduous task for ourselves, we are confident our products are GMO-free and you can be also.
