A work-stressed and anxious mom arrived home flustered; there, her toddler stunned her with his innocent request, "Mommy, let's laugh."
She started with a self-conscious chuckle; he giggled delightedly, grinning broadly. Inside her, a dam burst, and they were into a big-ol', can't-stop, full-volume belly-laugh, rolling on the floor together.
We could all use a good belly laugh. There is an awful lot going on – a lot of it awful. We need a time-out; our dams need to burst – and this is the season to be jolly – to laugh out loud despite, or because of it all, and to laugh together.
Our tip - A card-written "Honey, let's laugh" may be the most precious gift. Let us know the results.
Also, if you have a mind to, try milkadamia's Occasion for Jollification seasonal nogs - they are not serious - they're just delicious.
